About

John Mula OAM established Mula Consultancy in August 2022 after 40 years as a teacher and school and system leader. 

Throughout his career, John has worked respectfully with Church and government, Catholic education system leaders and in partnership with parents’ organisations to enhance the educational mission of the Church. He is deeply understanding of Catholic education’s civil, legal, and canonical obligations and very much aware of the challenges associated with these obligations. John has successfully navigated complexity, ambiguity, and disruption with a focus on creative and aligned solutions often working with diverse and competing interests and organisational complexities. 

John’s system leadership over the past 15 years has provided him with the skills, tenacity, and confidence to support and advise educators, leaders and educational systems.
