It has been my pleasure to work with John Mula in a variety of roles for over thirty years. John is one of Australia's most experienced educators. He has been a teacher and principal as well as holding senior roles in Catholic Education Offices including being Executive Director in two dioceses. He has worked in four states and at a national level as the Deputy Chair of the National Catholic Education Commission.  

In his roles he has developed high level skills in school and system leadership, governance, pedagogy, human resources, educational finance and organisational development. John and I met early in our teaching life, and while our careers arc-ed in different directions since then, I have been privileged to watch John become a highly esteemed system leader. There are so many things I admire about John and much he has to offer now in consultancy.

John is one of Australian Catholic Education’s most experienced educators and leaders. Among his gifts, he has that rare facility to genuinely develop a strategic vision that is tethered to practical reality. Always within context. Always with generative outcomes. This capacity has been honed through the diverse roles he has held in diocesan systems and organisations across Australia.
